Fluid Web Design is the info/portfolio website for me, Christopher C. Lindsey. If you are looking for someone to build or rebuild a website, design a product catalog, or even design a business logo, I can do it. I specialize in creating dynamic websites using Flash and ActionScript but I am also proficient in HTML, JavaScript, XML, MySQL, and other programming languages. My style is like fluid: Simple, clean, functional, and flowing. I like to build "Smart" websites that are visually attractive, and interactive in a way that the user has to do less to get the information they need. Dynamic is key when developing websites. The less work the user has to do to get to the information they want and the less work the developer has to do to update content on a website, the better. Money is saved in long-term development.
I have been doing web design and graphic design since August of 2000. I graduated high school in 2000 and attended the Art Institute of York in York PA from which I graduated in 2002 with an Associates degree in Specialized Technology. My major was Multimedia Design. After graduating college I started doing freelance work for Premier Body Accents for about a year until they took me on full-time to form their own in-house advertising/design department. Durring this time was when I learned that I preferred coding & development over designing so I started really getting into Flash & ActionScript.In 2005 I moved on to TRC Interactive, an online bank training company specializing in building interactive eLearning courses specific to training bank employees.Now I'm working for myself as a freelance Web Developer / Graphic Artist doing everything from designing logos to building dynamic web applications. Flash and Actionscript being my specialty, and my favorite medium. The web world is a very fast-paced and ever-changing field so I work hard to keep up with current technologies and design trends.
